Event Description:
Jack Wheeler and Marina Trent from Granville Counseling Collective will share strategies for clarity, connection and collaboration. Strong communication is the foundation of an efficient and engaged workplace. This presentation explores key strategies that enhance clarity, reduce misunderstandings, and foster stronger team connections. Participants will learn about the communication triangle, the role of perspective-taking and cultural considerations in fostering compassion, and conflict resolution techniques for assertive communication. Additionally, we will discuss the unique challenges of written communication (e.g., email, text) and how to navigate potential barriers to ensure messages are clear and professional. By integrating these skills, organizations can cultivate a collaborative and emotionally intelligent work environment that supports both productivity and employee well-being.
