Date: March 10, 2026
Time: 7:00 PM - 8:15 PM EDT
Event Description:
Granville Entertains: An America250 Event

Before the landscape of Denison University's campus we know today, there was a quiet corner of West Broadway - tucked between Mulberry and Plum - where the heartbeat of Denison's creative spirit first began to pulse.

We invite you to step back with us as we trace the footsteps of generations past. Together, we'll wander from the Young Ladies Institute of 1861, to the 1940s-60s carnival-like atmosphere of the Big Blue Summer Theatre Tent. We'll revisit the bustling charm of the Bryant soda fountains, uncover the storied walls of the Recital Hall, and so much more.

Marla Krak, Arts Engagement Coordinator and Vail Series Assistant Director, will serve as our guide as we pore over vintage aerial views and historic photos. Join us to uncover these hidden stories and celebrate our shared history as part of Granville's America 250.
